Identify negotiation opportunities (cost benefits and terms and conditions). Research and Actively identify cost savings/avoidance opportunities using spend analysis, cost categorisation, vendor vendor categorisation, etc. Manage and control item master and create item codes with correct allocations allocations to general ledger expenses.
