Bookkeeper - Johannesburg

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for recording and maintaining a business financial transactions, such as purchases,
expenses, sales revenue, invoices, and payments. They record financial data into general ledgers which are used to produce
the balance sheet and income statements. They also prepare reports for the manager and trial balances to assist the
accountants. They may be required to collect debts, generate invoices and make payments. The candidate will report to the
senior bookkeeper.
● Handling accounts payable and receivable.
● Bank reconciliation.
● Record financial transaction.
● Tax filing and completing VAT returns.
● Preparing trial balances.
● Collecting account information.
● Data entry and dealing with financial paper work and filing.

Requirements:
  • A qualification in Bookkeeping and preferably with pure maths
  • Excellent time management
  • Good administrative skills with attention
  • Excellent time management

  • South African unemployed Aged between 18 and 34
  • Must not have taken part on the YES Programme before
