RESPONSIBILITIES Drive business development and lead origination Define and implement marketing strategies to increase order volumes and profitability Identify additional products or services for client's offering Develop relationships with senior executives and business owners Collaborate with engineering and finance teams to develop commercially feasible solutions Provide technical pre-sales services to prospective clients Provide reporting on sales activities and results Provide market intelligence, including competitors' activities Stay up to date on developments in the renewable energy industry SKILLS Excellent professionalism and client engagement skills Result-driven Advanced Microsoft Office Suite ability Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Committed to thriving in a fast-paced, business environment EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in engineering or finance from a reputable university preferable EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 8 years in the South African solar industry working with rooftop, ground mount, and battery storage carport projects 5 years of business development experience in the renewable energy industry
