DESCRIPTION: The friendly Business Development Manager has extensive experience in deal origination and is highly adept at building networks amongst all levels of stakeholders in the industry. RESPONSIBILITIES Drive business development and lead origination Define and implement marketing strategies to increase order volumes and profitability Identify additional products or services for client's offering Develop relationships with senior executives and business owners Collaborate with engineering and finance teams to develop commercially feasible solutions Provide technical pre-sales services to prospective clients Provide reporting on sales activities and results Provide market intelligence, including competitors' activities Stay up to date on developments in the renewable energy industry SKILLS Excellent interpersonal and client engagement skills Result-driven Strong delivery & resilient Advanced Microsoft Office Suite Committed to thriving in a fast-paced, business environment EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor of science or engineering in relevant field EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 5 years of business development experience in the C&I sector 8 years in the South African solar industry working in rooftop, ground mount, or carport projects for C&I companies R650k - R750k CTC per annum
