The ideal Customer Support candidate would be a good fit with the team and culture. The role would best suit a young, energetic, and willing to get "stuck in" type of person who is presentable, reliable and good with people. They must have their own transport that is reliable and presentable. There will be periods of time where the candidate is alone in the office, therefore he / she must be comfortable to work alone. Daily Taking orders (Phone / email). Processing stock releases. Handling / Responding to customer queries (COAs, Halaal certs, etc). Liaising with warehouses as required in conjunction with logistics controller. Preparing pro forma invoices as required. Issuing new customer forms, credit applications etc. Reviewing daily sales report to manage future-dated deliveries. Making IBT requests as required. Monitor stock levels, especially in view of coming deliveries. Attending to JHB telephone. Weekly Courier bookings as required. Monitoring weekly expiry schedule, discuss with Sales Manager as required. Reviewing weekly call-off report in conjunction with Sales Manager to manage timely drawdowns. Review ad hoc open orders reports received from customers. Monthly Maintain printer consumables / servicing, stationery. Daily point of contact with the landlord. Review constk price checks, chase constk reports. Small customer sales calls as required. Review special pricing in advance of price advices. Monthly price advices. Annual Annual assets registor tally as conducted by accounts. The ideal Customer Support candidate must have their own transport that is reliable and presentable. The company are importers, agents and distributors of raw materials that are sold in the food, personal care and animal feed industries : 3-5 years working experience in same or related industries would be essential. There will be periods of time where the candidate is alone in the office, therefore he / she must be comfortable to work alone . Experience Customer services / sales support experience. Experience in the food industry preferable but not essential. Competent computer skills. Organised, able to manage own time. Good command of the English language.
