A privately owned construction company specialising in building projects is looking for a dynamic Financial Manager to join their team. Please ensure the MINIMUM Requirements are met before applying. Main purpose of the position: Responsible for overseeing regional accounting procedures, cash flow and project costing controls and ensures that an adequate control / compliance structure is in place. This includes providing expert advice as well as collecting, organising, analysing and reporting financial and management information. Will lead and support a team of professionals and uphold company standards whilst ensuring reporting integrity and legislative compliance. Will also leverage business analytics to optimise liquidity, improve process flows and identify and mitigate risk. Key Performance Areas: Manage the region's overall Financial, Plant, Procurement, Payroll and IT functions. Function as a subject matter expert and business advisor. Manage and take accountability for all statutory, regulatory and legal compliance. Manage and optimise financial administration and financial reporting. Customer / Stakeholder Management. Legal Requirements: No criminal record Clear credit score Valid drivers' licence MINIMUM Requirements: Experience: 5-10 years' experience in financial management within the construction industry, including managerial and technical exposure. Equipment costing experience. Education: BCom Honours (Finance) or NDip (Accounting or Financial Management), or a related field.
