As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our luxurious hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervision and Training:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping staff.
- Assign tasks and ensure efficient completion of cleaning duties in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
- Train new housekeeping employees and provide ongoing coaching to ensure adherence to hotel standards.
Quality Assurance:- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and adherence to hotel standards.
- Address any cleanliness or maintenance issues promptly and effectively.
- Monitor inventory and ensure adequate supply of cleaning materials and amenities.
Guest Relations:- Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns related to housekeeping services.
- Coordinate with front desk and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with guests.
Team Management:- Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and leadership.
- Motivate and inspire the housekeeping team to achieve high performance and guest satisfaction.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff on a regular basis.
- Health and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures related to housekeeping operations.
- Conduct regular training on safety protocols and procedures for the housekeeping team.
Qualifications:- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role in a luxury hospitality environment.
- Excellent knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
- Stock Management Experience.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Education and Certification:- Matric
- Additional certification in housekeeping or hospitality management is a plus.
