MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS- Matric
- Studying towards or possessing a qualification in human resource management, Industrial Psychology, or a related field would be ideal
- At least 1-3 years experience as an assistant
- Experience working within an operational environment would be advantageous
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED- Knowledge of relevant labour legislation
- Good Computer and Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Team player
- Ability to work well and adapt within a fast-paced environment

- Driven and a self-starter
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY AREAS- Assist to maintain the complete employee life cycle from onboarding to exit
- Assist to administrate the recruitment and selection process
- Assist to ensure accurate and proper administration of files, employment contracts, promotions and transfers on the HR system and in line with processes
- Provide support with employee orientation, induction and training
- Provide support with the administration of Workers Committees and Housing Committees
- Assist to maintain employee records and statistics leave, absenteeism, and productivity
- Assist with the administration and scheduling of disciplinary hearings
- Assist with HR and/ or statutory Compliance audits
- Assist with consolidating necessary information to compile HR related reports
- Provide administrative support with Workplace Skills Plans
- Assist with the planning and organizing of Staff Welfare, Corporate Social Initiatives and events Perform any other reasonable duties as requested
