To manage and provide a Human Resources support service across the business with a specific focus on resourcing & talent management, performance management, employee relations and all associated administration, in compliance with legislation and company policies and procedures. Responsible for all resourcing across the business (All locations and Business Units) Liaise and consult with line managers with regards to recruitment needs Formulate advertisements and distribution thereof through effective channels Screen candidates and conduct interviews in line with talent requirements and goals Work within agreed time frames to ensure recruitment needs are met Formulation and update of relevant policies and procedures Execution of appropriate end to end resourcing process Responsible for all associated paperwork from requisition till onboarding Responsible for managing relevant resourcing platforms Liaise with Learning and Development Practitioner pertaining to induction of new starters Responsible for ensuring sustainable pipelines Aligning of the resourcing strategy with company employment equity strategy/plan, and ensuring the implementation and tracking thereof Management of succession planning and performance reviews Ensure performance contracts are in place and regular goal reviews completed Formulate succession planning procedures and monitor implementation Administration of the performance management system Provide support with regards to the roll out of bi-annual performance reviews Liaise with the business regarding current staff compliment and immediate, mid and long term succession plans Responsible for ensuring sustainable pipelines by means of networking and creative sourcing Effective management of employee relations and industrial relations Support the business in maintaining an appropriate industrial relations environment and sound working relationships with all stakeholders Responsible for the execution of relevant disciplinary processes and the administration thereof Assist with associated policies and procedures to ensure it is appropriate and relevant Departmental Support and Administration Responsible for the onboarding and off-boarding process Assist with the maintenance of HR information system and act as HRIS Champion for the department Assist with minutes of meetings Monitor and audit compliance to relevant HR related policies and procedures Identify any shortcomings or gaps in departmental policies/procedures and ensure these are rectified appropriately Employee record management Provide support, and in instances take lead/chair, with regards to the various internal committees – such as (not limited to) EESD, Employee Forum, Social Identify key business challenges and identify HR interventions where appropriate Managing relevant purchase orders Budget management Health and Safety Participate in safety forums and attend relevant training/programmes Report all safety incidents to the relevant people Comply with safety policies and procedures Wear protective clothing (where applicable) at all times Employee management and development Ensure overall compliance to relevant procedures and policies Ensure that all team members have clearly defined job profiles Regular goal reviews are completed to assess achievement of results Support, coaching and mentoring is continuously provided to ensure that objectives are met Appropriate allocation of resources to meet operational demands Ensure adequate succession planning in order to meet ongoing and anticipated business requirements Qualification and Experience Relevant Tertiary qualification essential A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in Human Resources Proven experience in Resourcing and Employee Relations (IR) Knowledge, Skills and Attributes High sense of integrity and confidentiality High level of accuracy and detail orientated Procedural driven and outcome orientated Strong administration and organizational skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Good problem-solving skills High level of initiative and self-driven Reliable and disciplined Work independently with a high degree of responsibility Work well under pressure and meet deadlines SOILL VALUES Ownership Accountability and Responsibility Respect We treat other's how we want to be treated Strengths-Focused Together we achieve more Excellence Creating a high performance culture Transparency Open and Effective communication Integrity We walk our talk The opportunity listed has minimum requirements listed and management reserves the right to use additional or other relevant information as criteria for short listing.
