Job Description:Create and verify simulation models for automotive production lines utilizing Simio
Collect and scrutinize production data to fine-tune simulation model parameters
Detect production bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
Evaluate simulation outcomes to provide actionable insights and recommendations for enhancements
Work closely with production, engineering, and management teams to ensure alignment with project goals
Effectively communicate simulation findings and recommendations to stakeholders
Contribute to ongoing initiatives aimed at improving simulation precision and efficiency
Prepare detailed reports and presentations outlining project results
Facilitate the smooth integration of engineering designs and data into production processes
Skills & Experience: Extensive understanding of manufacturing operations and the dynamics of production lines
Skilled in data analysis, statistical techniques, and proficient in Microsoft Excel and simulation software
Strong attention to detail and adept problem-solving capabilities
Collaborative team player capable of thriving under pressure and managing multiple tasks effectively
Over 2 years of post-graduate experience specializing in simulation model development and implementation within manufacturing, with a focus on the automotive industry
Proficiency in Simio and advantageous familiarity with Arena, FlexSim, or AnyLogic
Deep expertise in manufacturing processes, production line dynamics, and lean manufacturing principles
Mastery of data analysis and statistical methodologies
Qualification:Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline
