We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Instrumentation Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of instrumentation systems within our manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong understanding of instrumentation, safety standards, and technical proficiency in various equipment and systems. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot instrumentation systems, including thermocouples, pyrometers, inspection cameras, and robotics. Conduct routine inspections and calibrations to ensure equipment accuracy and functionality. Adhere to lockout procedures and maintain a safe working environment. Provide training on instrumentation usage and safety protocols to relevant personnel. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues affecting production efficiency. Qualifications: Trade Certificate in Instrumentation. N3 Certificate or equivalent. Grade 12 or equivalent education. On-the-job training in lockout procedures, OSH, Competition Law, and Legal Liability. Main Functional Knowledge: Knowledge of instrumentation, safety standards, pneumatics, PLC, and VSD. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in management or leadership roles is desirable. Specific industry experience is preferred. Managing tasks effectively.
