Internal Account Executive â€“ Trade & Debtor Finance - - Cape Town City Centre

We're seeking a motivated Internal Account Executive to join our banking client's Trade and Finance department!

This is a key role supporting the Business Finance team by managing client portfolios within Trade Debtor Finance. You'll assist the Account Executive by handling administrative tasks, financial analysis, and client communication â€“ all while maintaining a strong sales focus. We have two positions available, one in Johannesburg and one in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN).

Ambitious with a desire to develop into an Account Executive role.
Matric/ Grade 12 with a preference for a Commercial Degree
Prior experience in marketing or sales of financial products (asset, trade, or debtor-based) is a plus, especially within a banking environment.
Experience with Business and Commercial Banking.
Exposure to or the ability to read a companyâ€™s financials and doing FICA in a banking environment.
Understanding of security documentation is beneficial.
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required for occasional client visits.

Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
Manage client portfolios, ensuring smooth operation and adherence to regulations.
Analyze financial statements and perform credit assessments.
Prepare and source information for new and existing client applications.
Ensure adherence to sanction terms and conditions and collect timely client information.
Collaborate with Credit and Operations departments to resolve account-related issues.
Prepare and process security documentation.
Handle general office duties, including answering phones, assisting clients, and supporting the team.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and participate in reporting tasks.
Cover for the Account Executive during absences.
Present applications and requests to credit departments.
Actively support all service and sales initiatives, prioritizing client satisfaction.
Coordinate field surveys as needed.
