Skills Required:

Role Responsibilities
- Accurately interpret customer needs and requests
- Review, understand and utilize customer history in context with current requirements
- Research and provide various product options in line with customer's request, suggesting alternatives based on cost, availability and specifications
- Source products, including costs and selling prices, from our database
- Generate detailed quotes for customer either over the phone or in writing
- Communicate price, applicable discounts, credit and terms according to company guidelines
- Furnish accurate information regarding in-stock item availability
- Provide accurate information about items to be manufactured
- Offer accurate delivery dates for out-of-stock items
- Facilitate order processes by preparing a Sales Order
- Collaborate with Warehouse Department to provide customer feedback regarding their orders
- Maintain regular customer contact to ensure satisfaction and address any issues
- Closely monitor scheduled shipments to ensure on-time delivery, and manage back orders as necessary
- Facilitate return procedures according to company policy
- Drive new and repeat business by promptly providing product and technical information
- Grow sales and order size via cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and promotional or sale items
- Educate customers about terminology, part numbers, features and product advantages to enhance sales and customer satisfaction
- Stay updated on new product releases and customer preferences by attending sales meetings, internal product training and Trade Shows
- Establish and manage customer information files (special prices, part numbers, etc.)
- Assess customer sentiment and report information to management and other sales representatives
- Manage your time effectively, meet individual goals and collaborate well with teammates and other departments
- Notify Purchasing Department about unforeseen increase or decrease in product demand
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Always exude professionalism toward customers and coworkers
- Provide assistance with Counter Sales as needed
- Inform customers about unavailable items on their order
Base Pay: R12 000 R13 000 monthly
