This well-established front runner in the Hydraulics Industry, that specialises in design, manufacturing, installation, repairs, and maintenance would like to appoint an Internal Sales Representative to join their Sales Team in Cape Town.

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 (Matric/NQF Level 4)
Valid Drivers License (not a pre-requisite but advantageous)
Strong technical aptitude
Fully Computer literate
Proven track record in achievement of sales targets
Minimum of 2 years internal sales experience within the Hydraulics Industry

Key Performance Areas:

Checking client history and understanding that history in relation to the current request
Correctly interpret customer requests and requirements
Investigating different product options available in connection to customer request. Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability or specifications
Sourcing products from data base including costs and selling prices
Receive and compose a detailed Quote for customer either telephonically or written
Present price, discounts (specials to specific customers), credit terms as per company specifics
Provide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock items
Provide accurate information regarding items that need to be manufactured
Provide accurate information relating to shipment dates or delivery dates of out-of-stock items
Facilitating the process of an order by preparing a Sales Order
Consult with Stores Department for purpose of giving feedback to clients regarding their order
Contact customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints
Monitor scheduled shipments to ensure timeous delivery and fill back orders as needed
Facilitate the return of goods as per company policies and procedures
Assist with Counter Sales if and when required
Attend Sales Meetings
Work towards sales targets
