Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment within the manufacturing facility.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues related to large moulding machines and other production equipment.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure all machinery and equipment operate efficiently and effectively.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and electrical systems.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety protocols.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work conducted.
Provide support during machine setup and changeovers to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
Stay updated with the latest electrical technologies and industry best practices.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong understanding of electrical systems and components used in the plastics manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum N3 qualification, be Trade Tested, and possess experience in the plastics manufacturing industry.
