Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical Maintenance (60%):
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on large mould injection moulding machines and associated equipment.
Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
Conduct mechanical repairs and overhauls on production machinery, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, and conveyors.
Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.

Electrical Maintenance (40%):

Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs on moulding machines, control panels, and related systems.
Perform regular inspections and testing of electrical components to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Assist in the programming, calibration, and maintenance of PLCs, sensors, and other automation systems.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.

Operational Support:
Collaborate with the production team to minimize disruptions and enhance productivity.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and time spent.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize machinery performance and production processes.
Provide technical support and training to junior staff members as needed.
Minimum N3 qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Trade Tested Millwright certification. Red seal
