Lease Administrator - Property - South Africa

My client, a leading Retailer based in Woodstock requires a competent Administrator for their Property Department.

Requirements:

  • National Senior Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Tertiary Qualification will be an advantaged

Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years experience in the commercial property leasing environment

Competencies:

  • Strong communication, negotiation and organizational skills are essential
  • Strong administrative skills in a commercial property environment
  • Proficient in both English and Afrikaans
  • Computer literate in MS Office
  • Efficient and detail orientated who can work under pressure in a deadline orientated environment.
  • Criminal and Credit clear

Duties (but not limited to):

  • Negotiations of lease renewals
  • Liaise with various Landlords and Portfolio Managers
  • Check status quo and unique requirements/clauses of lease agreements
  • Peruse and prepare lease agreements for signature
  • Implement systems and control measures
  • Responsible for maintaining and improve Tenant/ Landlord relations
  • Property Administration.
  • Professional support services to the team
