Reputable Events Company based in Somerset West, Western Cape, is looking to fill the Logistics Manager position. Update the shift schedule and logistics calendar regularly to ensure accurate scheduling and allocation of resources. Oversee the smooth running of all logistics operations, Ensure that team leads are briefed on upcoming events, logistics requirements, and operational tasks to be completed. Organise casual staff as needed for event setups and breakdowns Double-check quotes against the budget to ensure accuracy and alignment with project requirements. Compile post-event reports detailing logistics activities, challenges, and areas for improvement, providing insights for future planning. Order stock of packaging materials, consumables, and supplies needed for logistics Ensure that the company fleet and equipment, is serviced regularly and in good working condition for event logistics. Conduct daily and weekly vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and maintenance requirements are met. Communicate effectively between the warehouse, sales and creative teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events. Manage and monitor expenses for projects, and explore cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. Foster new ways to have work done in a timely manner, implementing efficient processes and strategies to meet project deadlines effectively. Proven experience in logistics and team leadership. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and tasks. Commitment to maintaining high standards of service and professionalism. Proficient in Microsoft applications (Non-negotiable) Drivers licence Code C1 (Non-negotiable) Salary depending on experience. Between R 25k to R 30K TCTC
