Reference: JHB003174-SS-1 Our client in the manufacturing industry is urgently looking to employ an experienced Logistics Manager at their organization Location: Edenvale, Gauteng Requirements: Qualification in Supply Chain Management/Operations Management 10 years production experience Experience within the manufacturing/motor industry ERP syspro experience Must be familiar with the Labour Relations Act. Responsibilities: Managing and procuring materials for the Gauteng manufacturing plant and ensuring Production Planning, Inventory management and supply of finished and semi-finished goods from internal and external customers. Responsible for ensuring the supply of goods for the Gauteng region. Ensuring GIT. Stock takes and cycle counts. OHSA and inventory control. Industrial relations. Fleet maintenance and servicing. Overseeing the performance of the team. Complying to SOP's, stores and systems protocol. Relationship management with suppliers. Engaging in continuous improvement activities to optimises Supply Chain. MR - MR - Monthly
