Strategic Planning: Analyse financial data and provide strategic recommendations to senior management. Policy Development: Develop and implement cost-effective financial policies and procedures; mitigate financial risks. Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reports and budgets; control and forecast income and expenditure. Financial Statements: Assist in the preparation of financial statements. Tax Calculations: Handle income tax calculations and processes. BOM Costings: Manage BOM costings and maintenance. Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to support financial decision-making. Regulatory Compliance : Ensure adherence to regulatory standards (IFRS) and financial management policies. Record keeping: Maintain financial records and protect sensitive information. Regulatory Updates: Stay informed of regulatory requirements and best practices; advise on improvements. Support: Provide support to various business units and perform ad-hoc duties as assigned. Reports Management: Maintain and create financial reports. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) BCom Accounting BCom Honours Completed CIMA or CA(SA) Experience: Over 5 years of management accounting experience. Extensive knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations. Strong mathematical and analytical aptitude. Experience with Syspro or other ERP systems (beneficial). Background in the FMCG and/or manufacturing industry is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite applications. Effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders Skills & Competencies: Strong numerical fluency and analytical skills. Ability to identify and resolve problems effectively and in a timely manner. Excellent time management and deadline-driven approach. Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and the ability to work under pressure. Outstanding collaboration and communication skills.
