The purpose of the role is to organise, coordinate and control the management & cost accounting function for Pie in the Sky, including services to Coimbra & SAMBA, and develop, institutionalise and consistently refine the management and cost accounting services and inputs that will inform effective financial planning, strategising and control while basing all cost/benefit decisions within Pie in the Sky on a sound financial footing. Develop and implement the costing approach that will enable accurate costing of products, processes, sections, departments, inputs, etc. and apply such costing in the context of sales projections, product mix, assets acquisition, risks to budgets and projections, not least also enabling what-if scenario analysis and forecasting. Coordinate and guide project management as well as systems integration from a financial and business optimisation perspective, Integrate the function within finance and the Pie in the Sky value chain. ERP understanding) Business Forecasting & Projections A tertiary qualification of at least 3 years with accounting as a major, preferably 4 years with a CIMA or similar qualification, and at least 2 years of cost & management accounting experience, with solid financial systems developer and user experience. Or at least a management and cost accounting studies amounting to at least 12 months formal training/studies, linked with at least 8 years in an accounting function, 5 of which should have been in manufacturing, preferably food sector or related in management and cost accounting at accountant level Specific experience with the Microsoft suite of office applications, including highly proficient use of Excel (using macros), as well as proficient use of the Sage or similar accounting systems and its features relating to cost and management accounting, budgeting & cost control.
