Mechantronic Engineer - Cape Town City Centre
Job Description:
Seasoned engineer to manage mechanical aspects across new and existing product lines.
Design of worm and wheel gear trains
Application of computer-aided machining methods
Integration of 3D printing technologies
Fundamental proficiency in programming languages such as C and Python
Skills & Experience:
Required 3 to 5 years of mechanical design experience, with a focus on proficiency in SolidWorks preferred
Familiarity with FEA (Finite Element Analysis), ideally within SolidWorks
Deep enthusiasm for designing manufacturing-focused products and solutions
Proven hands-on expertise
Positive and forward-thinking approach
Qualification:
A bachelors degree in engineering (BTech/BSc Eng/BEng or equivalent) is mandatory
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
