Networking Sales & Development Manager - Gauteng A leading provider of managed services and solutions to the Hospitality and Enterprise sectors in Sub-Saharan Africa is looking for a Networking Sales & Development Manager to join and grow with their dynamic and energetic team. This is a senior, full-time role, involving day-to-day tasks such as identifying new sales opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, conducting sales presentations, and negotiating contracts. The Senior Network Sales and Development Manager will work closely with the Sales team and contribute to the growth and success of the company. SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES: Ability to identify new business opportunities – Hospitality, Enterprise and Educational Market Experience in sales and business development of networking infrastructure with a proven track record in hospitality/Enterprise network sales Should have an existing network of contacts, customers and track record Excellent written and verbal communication skills needed for communicating with a wide range of industry leaders Experience with Tier 1 networks preferred (Ruckus, HP Aruba, Cisco Meraki, others) Experience in large scale Wired/Wireless Projects delivered to date Solid pre-sales understanding of network topologies/layout and design Ability to self-generate leads and cold call prospective customers Desire, tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets Understanding of network design, deployment, and installation Familiarity with infrastructure service and maintenance Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to work independently and remotely Desire, tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets Able to travel the continent and attend meetings/training in Europe/Middle East Manage and understand the needs of new and existing customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet their needs Discuss and plan promotional strategic activities with the Marketing Representative Negotiate pricing with customers, and suppliers in collaboration with Sales Director Ability to create sales forecasts and budgets Initiative and good decision-making skills Monthly Salary: Market related Apply Now
