What do we need: PR Account Manager What will you do: Client relations: Demonstrate excellent client relationships and ability to manage their expectations Client meetings: Drive participation in client meetings, managing meeting protocols, agendas, status reports Understanding: Demonstrate a detailed, thorough and informed understanding of your clients’ businesses and knowledge of their competitors for effective idea generation Project management: Manage comms. campaigns and PR activities timeously and within budget Demonstrate value to your clients by keeping them abreast of competitor and industry news Reviews: Take responsibility for planning and compilation of client review documents/presentations/reports and participate in client review meetings What will you need: Must have agency experience o Write press releases o Manage release distribution on your own o Compile media lists and keep them up-to-date o Pitch for broadcast interviews and prep the client appropriately o Compile PR reports and present to client o Strategy development o Look for and pitch opportunities o Competitor analysis o Managing media at media events o Social community management on behalf of client o Social media reporting o Compiling social media posts o Compiling social media calendars / strategy · Any event management would be a plus / not essential · General account management and run-of-the-mill communications work
