The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Employee Relations.
 - Investigating, preparing, and initiating all formal discussions, disciplinary, and incapacity cases.
 - Mediating grievances.
 - Representing the company at the CCMA.
 - Ensuring HR policies are reviewed and updated.
 - Providing legal advice.
 - Preparing and submitting the annual Employment Equity report.
 - Employee relations administration.
 - Recruitment.
 - Effectively managing the recruitment function.
 - Ensuring changes to employment terms are managed effectively.
 - Developing and maintaining an effective internship program.
 
 Experience in:
- Investigating and initiating disciplinary inquiries and CCMA hearings.
 - Supporting retrenchment processes.
 - Mediating grievances.
 - Handling incapacity matters.
 - Recruitment and selection.
 - Experience in the submission of employment equity reports is advantageous.
 - Knowledge of the South African Labour Relations Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Employment Equity Act, and any other relevant legislation.
 - Familiarity with HR information systems.
 - Excellent administrative skills, organizational abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
 - Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.
 
 Requirements:
- National Senior Certificate or equivalent.
 - Relevant tertiary qualification related to labor relations/labor law/human resources.
 - 5 years experience or exposure to the labor relations environment.
