Email CV to: CVsiliconworx.co.za The Support Engineer's activities will include the following: • traveling to customer sites in Rosebank / Sandton area. • administration of M365 cloud-based services. • administration of network user accounts and mailboxes • installation, maintenance and administration of server operating systems • installation, maintenance and administration of a variety of Microsoft server products • technical fault analysis and troubleshooting • monitoring and verification of service processes – i.e. backups, patch distribution • maintenance of data centre environment – i.e. cabling, labelling, standards • providing technical support to a wide range of users – internal and external • assemble workstation and server hardware • provision workstations into client environment • install and configure workstation software • monitoring network security and alerts • managing network IP addresses • supporting desktop applications • developing documentation, including user guides • gathering data and preparing reports • undertaking project work when required The Support Engineer is required to have excellent working knowledge and certification of the following technologies, including the Administration, Planning, Deployment and management of the backends. • Microsoft Operating Systems Current Versions • Microsoft 365, Teams, Exchange online, SharePoint, Entra • Microsoft Intune • Microsoft Compliance, Encryption and Security administration of M365 installations. • Microsoft Server Products (e.g. Exchange Server) • Latest Microsoft Office Suites • Workstation and Server Hardware (HP, Dell) • Network Equipment, Ubiquity, HP, Microtik • Fortigate Firewalls and/or Security Solutions • Microsoft Active Directory and related services Market related salary
