ACTOM AND LESEDI POWER SERVICES (PTY) LTD is an equal opportunity company, promoting affirmative action, has vacancies for: SENIOR STOREMAN Ngodwana A vacancy exists in the Maintenance Department at our Ngodwana Site for a Site Admin/Storeman reporting to the Maintenance Manager. Key Responsibilities Lay out store inclusive of a proper binning system that records Item, Part Number, KKS code of part linked to plant equipment, proper preservation for long term storage, order points, order quantities, lead time to order and cost of spares. Divide the system into 3 parts: Plant spares Consumables Routable spares. Design and implement Quality control procedures from ordering, receiving and storage. Monitor stock to ensure that it is replenished at the levels indicated by the MRP system Ensure the correct receiving of spares Continuous checking and binning of spares Location and picking of spares Ensure that collections by couriers are documented Order and control use of and certification of equipment Report stock outs monthly. Order and store outage spares separately from the normal running of plant spares. Ensure all spares are procured and available by T -3 months before outage starts. Orders are placed on Bellville and other local suppliers for stock as well as for WIP jobs for immediate resale. Ensure that periodic and annual stock counts are done. Management of PPE. Generate and process purchase orders, and ensure that all purchase orders are authorised Use the Inventory Module to process STN's and SCT's via goods in transit once documentation has been received from store Process delivery notes and invoices, and obtain authorisation thereof Update purchase order register File all purchase orders and supplier invoices accordingly Ensure that all consignment notes are filed Record all purchase orders in a register and update it timeously Process suppliers DN's/Invoices Allocate the invoices Obtain authorisation from Supervisor or Manager Match up all suppliers' invoices and handed over to Admin. Continuous maintenance of consumables store. Maintain premises housekeeping requirements (safe and clean premises). Implement and manage waste management processes. Report and maintain a register of damaged/missing stock and inventory. Compile and submit weekly and monthly reports to management. All records, working papers, documents to be filed as per company policies. Perform all reasonable duties required within the scope of this role as and when needed. Manage Store staff. QUALIFICATIONS Diploma in Supply chain or Logistics Managment (Grade 12, N3 or relevant NQF4.) EXPERIENCE Must have at least 2-year experience of similar role Computer literate CMMS and stock control system knowledge Driver's license - Code B with no endorsements Knowledge of storekeeping practices, procurement systems and procedures IT: MS Office, Syspro, SharePoint CMMS and stock control system knowledge Storekeeping practices, procurement systems and procedures ISO standards (quality, safety and environmental) Market Related Apply Now
