Effectively manage the day-to-day operation and manufacture of Steel Wire Rope.Ensuring that all safety standards and requirements are complied with.Specifically focuses on productivity of employees, timeous execution and quality product outputs. Ensure and adhere to Safety, Health and Environment requirements VFL Ensure production targets are met and downtime is minimised Preparation of weekly production reports Recording of production against plan Drive production to ensure that production is achieved Ensure quality of all product produced complies with specifications and standards Security and integrity of all workshop assets Preparation, maintenance and implementation of standard operation procedures, Risk Assessments and management of change documents Employees skills development , motivation, discipline Production reports and communication with shop floor Control of operation cost and overtime Maintain good general housekeeping Qualification required: Grade 12 Basic Production Management Courses Experience and skills required: Production supervision Production planning Team leadership and dynamic of people management Continues improvement plan Analytical problem solving Dealing in IR problems Organisation skills Computer literate(Legacy, MS Office,Word & Excel) People management skills-Driving efficient productivity Knowledge of applicable laws Sound communication skills Report writing skills Basic financial skills Safety management, policy and procedures Product knowledge-Lifting and Rigging Industry Market Related
