Currently seeking a Rigging Manager for an award-winning Heavy Lifting company. Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and profitability goals. Identify and qualify new leads, cultivate relationships with existing and potential customers. Secure contracts by creating compelling proposals and presentations showcasing rigging expertise. Grow/Expand the current customer base Operations and Project Management Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring efficient project execution. Schedule and dispatch crews, equipment, and resources to meet project timelines and budgets. Monitor project progress, identify and resolve any issues promptly. Analyzing and solving branch problems Organising and coordinating activities of the branch employees; Financial Management and Reporting: Branch profit and loss accounts Develop and manage branch budgets, controlling costs and maximising profitability. Prepare reports on key metrics like sales, utilization rates, and safety performance. Collaborate with company leadership to ensure alignment with overall business goals Safety and Compliance: Overall management to ensure safe, efficient and cost-effective execution of the lift. Implement a comprehensive safety environment that prioritises accident prevention and safe lifting. Ensure all rigging operations comply with industry regulations and safety standards. Conduct regular safety inspections and training for your team. Implementing plans in accordance with policies set by the top-level management, which integrates all the way through to lower-level management; Motivating employees to improve performance; recruiting and appraising lower-level managers. Build and lead a high-performing team of riggers. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that prioritises safety and quality. Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching and development opportunities for your team. Training and developing lower-level management individuals; Other Key Functional Responsibilities Providing operational reports to top-level management Cooperating with their peer branch managers for the benefit of the entire business Qualified Red Seal Rigger – Section 28 Qualified LMI is an added benefit Middle Management certificate is an added benefit Minimum 7-10 years of experience in the rigging industry, preferably in a leadership role. Proven track record of success in sales, project management, and team leadership. In-depth knowledge of rigging principles, lifting capacities, and equipment operation. Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in the rigging industry. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Proficient in project management tools and basic accounting principles. High level Microsoft Excel and word knowledge. Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment Negotiable Apply Now
