We're actively seeking a passionate and experienced Customer Support Specialist who is eager to ensure an exceptional and seamless experience for our valued clientele. The Role: Reporting directly to the Head of Trading, Risk & Product, you will serve as a vital link between operations and the MTS (Managed Trading Services). You will play a pivotal role in assisting marketing with identifying key events and markets for delivery to our customers, as well as aiding Support with sports and casino queries. Your responsibilities will include monitoring, investigating, and reporting on exploitative sports and casino play, syndicate activity, bonus abuse, and AML/FIC compliance. Trading Tasks Monitor real-time sports events/results. Conduct customer analysis. Monitor customer bet limits using stake factoring tools and monitoring Stake Factored accounts. Investigate and analyze market trends to gain insight that assists in predicting customer betting patterns. Monitor competitor activity and escalate as appropriate. Assist Marketing in identifying key events and markets, testing promotions, and reviewing associated Terms & Conditions. Stay updated on sporting activity by following sports events and news updates. Log errors or problems on the website and with vendors. Liaise with the software provider technical support team when necessary. Perform other trading duties as requested by management. Risk Tasks Detect and prevent fraud across product verticals. Conduct analysis on advantage/exploitative play and recommend action. Investigate customer accounts and disputes and report findings to management. Assist with FIC/AML compliance and conduct EDD investigations when required. Check withdrawals according to internal limits. Maintain ongoing communication with the MTS provider. Assist Marketing and Customer Service with queries. Risk Tasks Collaborate with the payments team to investigate financial fraud. Maintain a high level of awareness of internal policies, systems, and procedures. Compile reports and perform any other ad hoc duties requested by management. Minimum 3 years of experience in a related position. Matric/Grade 12 or higher qualification. Availability to work shifts. Experience working with a MTS. Knowledge of sports betting. Experience in risk analysis. Familiarity with the South African regulatory framework. Detailed understanding of casino products.
