Cape Town A precision Engineering company that specialises in metal components is looking for a qualified Turner Machinist. capable of operating lathes and milling machines to high tolerances. Examine detailed drawings or specifications to establish job, material and equipment requirements Operate machines to produce parts by turning, boring, milling Slotting or drilling metal components Ensuring that the quality of work is up to the required standards Check accuracy and quality of finished parts REQUIREMENTS Live in Cape Town Valid SA ID Approved and recognised Trade test qualification (Turner Machinist) Minimum of 5 plus years experience gained with in a precision engineering metal envirionment. Experience on CNC lathes and milling machines Strength to handle materials and tools (physically fit) Good hand -eye co-ordination Hands on practical approach to the job Ability to work under challenging conditions Sound communication skills (understand, read and write English) Must be prepared to work overtime when required Own transport No criminal record Attributes Hard working and self-motivated Time management and organisational skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Logical and detail orientated
