Description Well-established general engineering firm seeks a trade tested Turner/Machinist to join their team at their workshop in MONTAGUE GARDENS . For the position you would be required to have: Trade tested Turner – Machinist Around 5 years relevant working experience in the engineering or metal industry Ability to operate lathes and milling machines to high tolerances Physically fit Prepared to work overtime when required Own transport Responsibilities would include you to: Examine detailed drawings or specifications to establish job, material and equipment requirements Operate machines to produce parts through turning, boring, milling Slotting or drilling metal components Ensuring that the quality of work is up to the required standards Check accuracy and quality of finished parts Ensure high tolerances are maintained Please apply online or contact Jan van Dyk on 021 – 531 2015 for more information
