Duties and responsibilities
Employees across the spectrum Perform QC inspections prior to welding: layout, fit-up, sub-assembly & final-assembly inspections Perform QC inspections during welding: pre-heat, weld quality compliance, interval witnessing on back gouging of critical welds Perform QC inspections after welding: dimensional checks on critical components, inspection of welds prior to NDT, NDT arrangements & NDT requests Perform QC inspections final (final product punch-list & supervisor/QC check sheet) Perform QC inspections wrt line-bore: line-up inspection
