Reference: JHB011732-LJ-1 To manage the full life cycle (Fabrication Workshop) of a project (Survey/bidding Advanced) Minimum 5 years “Managing” all aspects of a SMPP Fabrication Workshop, welding, piping or structural liaising with clients/service/products providers/Management etc. From early stages: Understand project requirements client requirements, before dispatching them to the workshop. Coordinate with the QC Coordinator for project and monitor manufacturing instructions for the workshop. Travel on client site (onshore/offshore) to follow
Manage the Workshop with multiple staff, machinery and equipment. Liaise with Internal and External customers Attend pre plan meeting on board vessels. Plan and manage the effective utilization of labour and equipment/machinery maintenance and repairs Managing capacity of the workshop Experience with tyre management standards and systems
Company is seeking a proactive Workshop Manager to lead their workshops to new heights. If you're passionate and drivers. Conduct biannual KPI reports with workshop and service staff. Provide in-house training to deadlines are met and project progress is monitored. Manage month-end stock take, transfers, etc. Coordinate logistics, including collection and deliveries. Manage stock and control stock levels. Assist in building certificate. Minimum of 2 years' experience in workshop management. Exposure to material handling/stored energy
