Case Manager - Medical Aid

  • Follow patients
  • Identify the need for patient and hospital visits where possible and give documented fee facilities
  • Initiate discharge planning early in hospital admission
  • Inform family regarding short-term information
  • Communicate clinical funding recommendations via hospital authorisation notes to doctors skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of hospital procedures and medical terminology

    • Perform clinical interventions including Drug Utilisation Review application escalations to the Clinical Committee for cases outside of clinical protocols
    • Load medicine centre and doctors
