Qualifications and Experience:Computer literacy and intermediate excel skillsA relevant qualification in Human Resources Management or studying towards such a qualification is preferable.Good business writing skillsRole Responsibilities:Business Knowledge Displays a practical understanding of the Kelly and Quest value proposition and objectives, and how functional business structures, reporting lines, systems and work processes support these objectivesHas a basic command of the business language to consider and ask business relevant questions Payroll and HR Administration Liaises with Staff members on the payroll opening and closing dates.Receives payroll documents from staff and managers and ensure relevant sign off.Submits all payroll inputs to payroll before the payroll cut off date.Assists with all queries from payroll and ensure a timeous response.Logs member query forms with the broker for all benefits on termination, new appointment and transfer.Creates and maintains staff files for all employeesEnsures that all termination are completed in line with the Termination checklist and closed accordingly.Audits the employee personal details list from payroll and make changes where required.Orders stationery when requiredAttends to all general administration within the department as required.Assists General Manager with Monthly reporting and ADHOC administrationTakes accountability for the HR LOG and ensure timeous responses to the business Facilitates the HR Mailboxes and HR folders on the intranet by ensuring all folders are up to date and that only current relevant documents are posted.HR Compliance and ReportingAssists with the BBBEE(Empowerdex) applications by providing required HR documentsEnsures that all staff files are compliant in line with Sustainability and Labour Department audits.Communicates CCMA referrals to the relevant Manager with assistance from Temp Payroll and maintains the CCMA file.Handles all CCMA administration for permanent staff as needed e.g. compile the arbitration files etc.Assists with Human Resources Compliance Projects as required.Organizational DevelopmentAssists in the coordination of wellness day programs in contact with Wellness service providers. i.e. – Kelly & Quest Annual Wellness day, Wellness talks( Financial, Stress Management , ICAS Managerial Sessions, Work Life Balance)Distributes Wellness materials and ensures that necessary Wellness posters are displayed.Coordinates Employee benefits with ADCORP, ATTOOH, and Quest. i.e. – Payroll benefits advice, Medical Aid benefits coordination, etc.Assists in policies and procedures development, implementation and maintenance.Assists in the talent and management initiatives and administrations for the company.Assists in organising Hr related initiatives as per the HR CalendarEnsures that the initiatives are communicated to all relevant stakeholders, organise all logistics and assists in setting up for each eventPerformance Management Assists in the preparation for the performance system for quarterly and bi-annual performance appraisals.Assists in ensuring that all employees have individual development plans (IDP) in place.Recruitment and SelectionCollates CV received for all vacancies to ensure a shortlist for the recruiting managerSends regret letters to unsuccessful candidates for all HR related positionsDistributes the first shortlist to the relevant Manager for all positions C Lower and below.Creates and maintains the recruitment file.Learning/training and DevelopmentAssists with the organisation internal and external training interventions,Ensures that all training registers are sent to HRCreates and maintains the training file.Ensures that all required documents are included in the fileRequests proof of study assistance payments from bothemployee and Kelly & Quest.Ensures that proof of payment for study assistance is received from employees.Safe keeping and maintenance of the study assistance file.Ensures that exiting employees refund the study assistance funds as per policy.Coordinates all other training and development interventions by the company. i.e. – Induction process, management and leadership academies, learnerships, internships, etc....apply now!
