ABOUT THE POSITION The Financial Analyst will support USAID/Southern Africa’s Regional Financial Management under the Southern Africa Mission Support (SAMS) Institutional Support Contract (ISC). RESPONSIBILITIES Support implementing partners (IPs) through training, site financial analysis support to technical teams in USAID client missions/offices. Supports technical teams
following: • Plan, assign & review staff work • Support month end & year end close process • Compile with budgeting process • Staff supervision and support • Payroll processing • Recon of GL accounts • Expense
Ensures proper analysis is provided in order to support the management team. Sales prices control Payroll review Support the development of Forecasts, Budget and MTP plan accounting control Support other departments - Ensures proper analysis is provided to support the management with administrative, filling and other smaller support functions

Ensure proper documentation and support for journal entries in accordance with accounting information for journal entries.
