The Financial Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a CA(SA) qualification and at least 2 years of post-articles experience in the property industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit documentation.
Prepare financial reports for senior management.
Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

CA(SA) qualification is required.
Minimum of 2 years of post-articles experience in financial accounting within the property industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
