The Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing financial activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a CA(SA) qualification and have at least 2 years of experience in the property industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities for the company.
Qualifications:
- CA(SA) qualification is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial accounting within the property industry.
