Morris Material Handling seeks to find a qualified machine shop Machinist to join its team in Benoni Head Office. The incumbent must have 2 to 3 years experience in an engineering machine shop environment. Set up/operate lathe machines Operate lathe machines to manufacture products Inspect finished products for defects Perform basic machine adjustments Set-up & operate a variety of turning products such as, shafts, wheels, axles, gears etc. and any type of tuning that can be done on a lathe. Reads and interprets safety rules, drawings, procedure manuals and operating instructions Read job orders for product specifications such as dimensions, tolerances, and tools instruction Qualified machine lathe Turner 2 to 3 years' experience in an engineering shop environment. Any other turning experience such a milling, and drilling machines, will an advantage
