Our client is a prominent leader in the mining industry in the Netherlands, renowned for delivering top-tier mining services and innovative solutions. They are currently seeking a talented and experienced Millwright to join their vibrant team. If you have a strong background in maintaining and repairing mining machinery, this opportunity is perfect for you. Afrikaans and English fluency required. Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair mining machinery and equipment, including conveyors, crushers, loaders, and other heavy machinery. Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical issues and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime. Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure machinery is in optimal working condition. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities. Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including engineers and operators, to identify and resolve mechanical issues. Upgrades: Recommend and implement upgrades and improvements to machinery and equipment. Education: Trade certification as a Millwright or relevant technical qualification. Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues. Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals. Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety. Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces. Additional Requirements: Willingness to work in the Netherlands. Afrikaans & English fluency required.
