ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: - Experience in Azure Monitoring Tools - Experience in VMWare Horizon Cloud preferably Next Gen - Experience in Azure Networking - Knowledge of VMWare Workspace ONE Access and Unified Endpoint Management - Knowledge of Microsoft Intune - Knowledge in Scripting (Powershell) - Experience in VMWare Intelligence - Experience in VMWare Freestyle - Experience in operation of Windows Servers (higher than 2016) - Experience in Windows Client (Windows 10 / 11) OS troubleshooting and patch management - Experience with Active Directory and GPO - Experience with Scripting (PowerShell, Python etc.) - Experience Citrix Xen-Desktop (higher than 7.x) and Xen-App (higher than 7.x) full stack - Experience Citrix Netscaler (higher than 12.x) and Storefront - Experience Citrix XenServer (higher than 7.x) - Experience Citrix on VMware Hypervisor Stack (higher than VMWare ESXi 6.x) - Experience with monitoring tools (Aternity, SCOM, AZURE, Nagios, Dynatrace etc.) - Experience in troubleshooting in infrastructure - Experience in data-driven monitoring and analytics - Experience with ITIL processes (Incident, Change and Problem management) - Plan and execute maintenance tasks (change management) - Plan and execute infrastructure lifecycle tasks (technical lifecycle, change management) - Resolve incident tickets - Analyze and resolve problem tickets - Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: - Experience with cloud technologies and cloud providers (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services) - Microsoft W365 - Experience in operation, maintenance of VDI technologies (Microsoft and VMware Horizon) - Automated problem remediation - Machine learning (ML) for data analytics - Network troubleshooting skills - Understanding of Rest API technology - Experience with cloud technologies and cloud providers (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services) - Experience in operation, maintenance of VDI technologies (Microsoft and VMware Horizon) WHICH QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE DO WE NEED FOR THE ROLE? - A university degree in a relevant field of study (e.g., computer science, engineering, sciences, etc.) or a comparable qualification - 5 years Operations experience with Citrix VDI and App stack - Experience with windows desktops and server support - Experience with Windows Terminal Server - Experience with software packaging and image creation - Experience with hardware and software lifecycle - Experience with ITIL processes (Problem, Incident, Change management) WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES? - Be involved in the maintenance and operation of a global Digital Workspace infrastructure for virtual devices. - Be a maintenance and operations focused team member for our cloud and on-premises VDI platforms. - Ensure smooth operation of VDI platforms. - Actively work on improving operational excellence including automation and proactive monitoring approaches. - Collaborate with an international product team, external providers, vendors, and end-users. - Treat security as a first-class citizen. - Work closely with stakeholders, development teams in constantly improving our VDI platforms stability and availability. - Work with other IT teams on integration of new features and components. Main Function: - Be responsible for the operations and standardization of the enterprise VDI infrastructure, platform, and desktop components. - Verify, plan, and execute maintenance tasks together with other infrastructure teams. - Continuously improve operational stability. - Automate platform operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance topics. - Install, configure, maintain, and deploy virtual Apps and desktop images. - Installation, Configuration, and maintenance of RDSH servers, e.g., Windows Server, Windows Multisession. - Installation, Configuration, and maintenance of Published Application presentation layer (e.g., XenApp & Citrix Workspace). - Application and Server hardening (e.g., Ivanti). - Work with Application Monitoring tools.
