Our client a leader in the construction industry is currently looking for a Payroll Manager (Wages) to be based in Gauteng. The Payroll Manager will oversee and supervise the wage department and be responsible in ensuring that wages are processed on time, accurately and in compliance with respective government regulations. Impacting approximately 5,000 employees in multiple countries paid in their respective currency. Will report to the Group Payroll Manager and Group HR Manager. Manage and supervise payroll team of 8 – 10 employees. Implement, maintain and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of related transactions. Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations and change to pay rates. Investigate and resolve all queries and discrepancies in a timely manner. 15- 20 years of payroll experience required (preferably covering RSA and Africa). Min 5 years of payroll management experience. Min 5 years SAGE 300 Payroll experience. Extensive knowledge of payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control and payroll taxes. Proficient with SAGE payroll software.
