Our client is seeking a Production Administrator who will assist the Cost Accountant in providing a centralized planning function to our client, that incorporates inventory control.

Responsibilities:

Ensuring effective production execution including printing and chasing job cards, reconciling, and processing material usage and bulk job receipts.
Evaluating the accuracy of work in progress scheduled for completeness and accuracy before manufacturing or packing.
Identifying and communicating variances and ensuring variances are accurately accounted for across all sites and reporting any issues to Management Accountant.
Assisting Cost Accountant in co-ordinating Company stock counts including distribution of stock sheets, processing write-offs, capturing stock-count data and printing, and distributing variance reports.
Ensuring ISO compliance by following ISO processes.
Assisting in Performing ISO Stock Control Audits, reporting findings.
Maintaining data integrity by accurately analysing relevant data on Syspro and highlighting Physical BOM concerns.

Qualifications:

Minimum Grade 12.
A tertiary qualification in the cost accounting or a related field, would be advantageous.
3-5 years working knowledge of a production administrative environment.
3-5 years working knowledge of basic cost accounting would be advantageous.
Must be able to work according to tight deadlines.
Experience with Syspro advantageous.
Prepared to work after hours where necessary.
